Ciela Megías founded Music to See and is its editor-in-chief. The publication exists because festival coverage tends to stop at the line-up poster, and the more useful questions come after it: how the edition actually went, what it cost to put on, and what the announcement for next year says about the one that just ended.
Her own beat is the European circuit, from the Barcelona festivals on her doorstep to the Paris, Madrid and northern European summers, and the calendar that ties them together: on-sale dates, first announcements, and the autumn indoor season that now fills the months between two summers.
She set the standard the publication is held to: each fact carries a link to its source, and nothing is described as seen that was not seen.
